Forum rules

This is pretty wide open, but there are just a few rules.

1) This is NOT a place to sell calls or dekes. This is just to share your work and discuss techniques - and get feedback.

2) If you post up a piece of work, and it gets made fun of - not our problem. When you post a piece for critique you better be able to handle negative comments. If you can't handle negative remarks - don't post.

3) IF you make 20 duck calls, please don't add 20 topics in the same day. Put all 20 in one topic. Now if you make some more next week, feel free to add a new post.

THANKS AND HAVE FUN!

Nice looking design.
Do you have any sound files?
Good luck this season.

PS. If you'll shorten the "subject" heading - post & views will show up.
Too many characters causes an error for some reason

It can do both. I can tune the call with a 10 mil reed which can be found in the majority of calls on the market today or I can tune it with a 14 mil reed like what's found in cutdown calls. This call has the bark of a cutdown but can get low as well.

The 10 mil is not as loud as the 14 mil but is easier to run and can get softer than the 14 mil. But the 14 mil is a lot louder but harder to run due to the thicker reed.

Depends on material etc. But they start at $60 for a wooden call without a band. You can go to my Facebook page for call examples and sound files.
