Do you check into every individual that posts a puppy ad? I dont see how you could possibly make that happen. I understand your dilema but people post puppies for sale without health clearances all the time on this site. How is that any different? Plenty of people are getting dogs with health issues that could be avoided if this site made the health clearances a requirement for posting litters for sale. Its no different than the example you just made except the people can see a flea infested dog and walk away from it. They won't know until its too late if they get an EIC or CNM affected puppy, which is 100% avoidable. I understand what you are protecting against, and the best way to do that is to requre health clearances. That ensures 100% that the sellers are reputable breeders, after all they just spent $500 to have their dog health certified. That includes hip and elbow x rays sent to OFA to be reviewed by multiple specialists, CNM and EIC testing, a CERF exam on their eyes. It will solve all of your problems and take this liability off of your shoulders for good. JMO and the people on this board that are concerned with the betterment of the breed will agree. The sole purpose of a breeding isint just $.

Thanks for the support Mr. Allen! This is my dog and not a puppy mill.(2nd litter from a 4yr) I do have all the health requirements that are needed to have on the Dam and for sure on the Sire. Also I agree that would be a way to better the breed and not to make Alducks just another C-list site. That is why I posted here, my impression that it was a site intending to make the breed a little better with quality people. So I may have posted in the wrong spot (just where every other dog/pup was). Then some guy wants to say I'm stupid and can't read. I just ask a question and that is the reply I recieved. So Tommy Boy(guess that why you have BOY in your name) take your own advice. Good Luck! If you want to delete my ad, then go ahead, no problem at all and band me from the site! THANKS AGAIN FOR SOME OF THE COMMENTS! Mr. Allen Thanks for saying a nice litter!

Ray

SunnyDee,
Congrats on picking a fine Sire. With pups of that caliber you might be better off posting the litter on the RTF. Everyone there are dog people, and you are more likely to get people looking for high caliber dogs there. I too find it odd that they picked your listing to scrutinize, but they are the mods and can do what they want. So maybe just take your business elsewhere.

I know you are trying to be cute, but muddycreek is anything but little. You might need to ask for pictures before talking smack...

Maybe if the "dog" people would leave the DUCK site there would be less confusion...

No, I don't ck every dog listed in the classifieds, no way I can. I guess I could not allow any puppy posts whatever in classifieds to remedy this issue. What I do is not let someone "advertise" on our site without knowing their background. If you read the classified rules, it states that we as site owners have no control over interactions that take place as a result of the classifieds.

If ALDUCKS was my fulltime job, I might do more, but I have a life and responsibilities outside of here.

As for some litter of pups being deleted, I did delete a posting a while back because someone had only 1 or 2 posts on the site and then typed BS to get to 10 posts so they could place a classified. Those are the types of people that are just users of the site and not real members who want to contribute anything to the site, just trying make a quick dollar at our expense, and it wont happen.

Yall would find just about anything to gripe about, this isn't Oprah.

Nope...I, unlike yourself, was able to read them. You know, the ones in the big, bold, red, typing. :blues
Feel free to let me know anytime you wanna come shoot low boy. I'll be glad to take you up on it. Might even bring the Sunnysidedown. He might wanna shoot too. For $1500 he better be able to shoot ducks and pick them up, so he needs to stay polished up on somethin besides bigdaddy.
