Forum rules

This is pretty wide open, but there are just a few rules.

1) This is NOT a place to sell calls or dekes. This is just to share your work and discuss techniques - and get feedback.

2) If you post up a piece of work, and it gets made fun of - not our problem. When you post a piece for critique you better be able to handle negative comments. If you can't handle negative remarks - don't post.

3) IF you make 20 duck calls, please don't add 20 topics in the same day. Put all 20 in one topic. Now if you make some more next week, feel free to add a new post.

THANKS AND HAVE FUN!

Teal season being right around the corner got me wanting to draw a bluewing. Just finished it up tonight and thought I'd share it.

Thanks guys. I've always wanted to do that. The duck stamp folks are like really really good. I'm mediocre, I just enjoy drawing. I wish I had more time to do it.

Never have but I probably could. All I've ever really done is ducks and deer. A dog couldn't me much different than a deer I don't guess. It's hard to capture the "personality?" of a particular dog. I could try though.

Bubba, those guys that win the stamps do it year after year and the judges are starting to select the newer talent, so don't think your not good enough. Your plenty good enough! You've got nothing to loose man, he'll to coin a phrase " Just Do It"

I appreciate the encouragement. I may eventually do it. I have done black and white for so long that I would have to get use to using color. It would be an awesome accomplishment though!

There have not been any in black & white stamps for a very long time, and there's no rule against it. Would be a refreshing change of pace.
