There are two ways to post pics on the site – either upload them locally to our server or link them to a picture host (such as photobucket).

Option 1 – Locally

Due to picture sizes of modern cameras, we have to limit the image size that can be uploaded. Some images in modern cameras are 5+ MB eeach, so you can imagine how fast this can grow. Here are the easy steps to host them on alducks.com.

1. Find your picture.
2. Go to http://www.picresize.com/ and upload your picture.
3. Follow their easy steps online to resize your image. You will need to use the quick resize option and do the following:
4. For Option 2 (Choose new size) click the Custom Size radio button, then on width click the drop-down and select pixels. For the width, enter 600 pixels.
5. Place special effects if wanted.
6. Then click resize pic at the bottom. Save it to your drive and then it can be uploaded to the site.

Option 2 – Photobucket – Recommended to keep our file size down

1. Open your photobucket.com account, or if you don’t have one create it (it’s free).
2. Upload you image to your photobucket.
3. Select the [img] code from your image, and copy/paste the code into your post.

Thanks, and I hope this helps.

E

Bump !!! :cool

The "Image" code is the bottom of the four codes on photoBucket :D

Also, you may edit or change your photo on Option 1, BEFORE you save it into photoBucket.

I LIKE to see photos of Freshly killed ducks :D

So post 'em up.... :cool

God Bless you
