April 1 finally got here, and I was able to start chasing birds. Killed #1 on the 1st in Limestone County, and #2 on the 3rd in Madison County. Great start to the season so far.

He was a 3 year old at least. 19 lb 15 oz, 10.5" beard, 1 1/8" spurs

Second was a 2 year old 18lb 4oz, 9 3/8" beard, 3/4" spurs.

I decided to xray the first bird I killed, since it took a center punch with my new tss loads. It ended up having 38 pellets left in his neck, with lots of other pass throughs.
