Well, I have been blessed with two in two days. I believe that they are pretty fired up. I hope the coming cold snap does not mess all that up. We sure are having an early Spring this year.
Image 3/25/15 10 1/2" beard 1 1/8 spurs

danggit boy! congrats. I'm jealous of those S AL spurs (assuming you are in S AL?)... I have never killed a "sharp spurred" bird in the hills/mtns of Jackson county during the 20yrs I have been hunting them. Probably just not holding my mouth right. :P

Congrats Cypress! I knew you'd have a few pics posted up soon. They were talking mid week, dead silent this weekend. I took my youngest girl, and she got to hear her first gobble Tuesday. She didn't get to see the deed done though...

That's what I've always heard but I'm so stubburn I'd need to see some video evidence, lol! You had any luck so far on non-youngun hunts? I've managed one in AL (tag team shot with a friend) and one in FL so far. Work is getting in the way of some good days this week.
