I was going to see if anybody out there had a 338 win mag an see what kinda some an mounts an rings ya'll used I've had a time with getting a scope to stay sited in just wondering thanks

probably grizzly bears. :)i used weaver mounts and rings, lock-tie them in place it won't move.

Sounds like you are hunting man- bear- pigs. That's an extreme round! Weavers work well. You'll need good glass to keep from knocking it off with that thumper... a barska ain't gonna do it. Too much punch. Nikon makes a 338 scope with BDC for that caliber, and cost includes a knob for your favorite round, I believe. As for rings, weaver or Leopold should work.
