that will open a big can of worms,i have muzzy mx3's rage chisel tip three blades / grim reapers, and i have bought slick tricks razor tricks, and also Viper tricks, years sgo when i bought my crossbow i bought the Excalibur bolt cutters 150 grain three blade broad heads, they are al stainless steel, sharp as can be. it should zip right thru the shield on a feral hog, and deers as well.with all that said i feel you will be well served with the muzzy MX 3 broad heads they are sharp, fly great and tear a deer up. i have killed many with these heads, the funny part is rarely does the rear end ever get past where the nose was before they die. i hope this helps if i kill one this year with the slick tricks i will report back. :many the viper tricks will make a slug type hole with its 4 blades cutting. that the company says is a total cut diameter of 2" these blades are .035" thick

if your swacker hit bone look at your shaft real close, bet you will see where the wing blade hit the shaft cutting it.if you don't that is the first i have heard that didn't happen. :manyi now have the razor tricks, the viper tricks, i have bought and sharpened, the rage hypodermics cause they are all steel, the point is now as sharp as a fish hook, the blades are shave sharp. and i got the extremes that came sharp, so i didn't need to sharpen them, so once i get to where i can drive i am ready to hunt. :cool

i am not slamming swackers i actually wanted some but a crossbow buddy showed me what happened to his arrows after they hit the shoulder on a deer both wing blades hit the shaft he contacted swacker they replaced the heads, but he had to buy more arrows. this year am shooting carbon express terminator shafts and the crush 350 spine as soon as i can crank up my bow more. i hope to be shooting 70 pounds pull by 15 October holding 17.5 pounds at 28 inched draw length.

Ithink if your going to use them, be sure you have enough draw weight, or you might be unhappy place your shot in the rib cage, not the shoulder. be sure to shoot goin a way but not coming to you.i hve the rage 40KE, because i am shooting low poundage, i got worn, out today, shooting a bunch of round of dots.so rght now i can't draw any more weight.i have the rage extreme 2.3" cut, and the hypodermics, i feel as long as the deer are walking away i can slip one in behind the ribs. then i should be ok.Plus i have a raft of fixed blades heads like Muzzy MX-4's, and MX-3's. to include my slick tricks.

I carry swhackers and 2 blade bloodrunners. Porky gets the bloodrunner. My two cents is for expandable broadheads, simple is best.

after acupuncture today i stopped at full draw archery, and bought a pack of the new rage SS. i hope shooting 45 pounds will be enough to get a pass through, excluding a shoulder hit, then i know it will be a no go. wounded deer, in that case.

i bought the muzzy mx 4, i like the idea of those 4 blades cutting the deer, big square hole you can drop a quarter in.

some like them, some don't, i use ram cats.i especially like the back cut technology. meaning if you don't get a pass through it will cut on its way out.

the fatal steel is made by grim reaper, i read reviews about the ram cats last night it got me pumped. i can change the blades to 125 grain head blades for a bigger cut.i saw pics of the carnage they do. it is awesome what a ram cat will do to a feral hog / deer. i am very glad i bought them, the fly exactly like field points so there is no tuning to be done once the bow is setup right and paper tuned. which mine are.
