At the request of one of our members, the Banded Duck Kill Forum has been added. Tell us the date, kind of duck. and where it came from. Don't leave it up to me to do any bragging (never killed a banded duck).

Hey great addition! I probably won't ever be posing to it but it will be great to hear from those that do.

To all duck hunters who go to Lake Guntersville, I probably got the only bird up there with a band. I shot it on Dec. 31.It was one of the biggest canadas i have ever seen.Good luck to everyone else with the rest of the season!

whoever said there was only one goose with a band on guntersville lake was wrong.....i killed one in my backyard with a neck collar, a bible band on its left leg and a federal band on its right leg. He had definately been to the jewelry shop! O and i know how unethical that is killing a goose out of your backyard but i couldnt resist as i was walking down to my boathouse and saw the collar shining in the sun

Web-Foot you are very stupid for admitting to shooting a Cormorant..It is a hefty lil fine for shooting them..That would be a federal fine..

I killed a couple of woodies with a little bling on the leg years ago up North all banded the same day, same place.

I have only killed one mallard banded and all of those bands together where lost in the river or someone wanted them enough to hijack them from me. I hope the first is true and not the second.

The only one I've ever killed was a Drake Double Spriged Pintail in Jonesboro, Ar in 2001.
