 Post subject: No Ducks

Went just two days ago to a spot an seen lots of ducks in the area.. Went this moring to a spot pretty close to it and didn't see but a few.. Seen a few bluebills and few gadwalls.. No more then 15 combined.Seen everybit of 250 coots and only 15 ducks? What's the deal guys? :noducks I understand they move but still?

They are so scattered in this flood that hunting the river is a waste of time. I went this morning and it was pitiful. I'm sleeping in the rest of the weekend...

Can't blame you for that!! It's been UGLY this year. I believe the durr huntin will commence this weekend.

All this rain has created 1000's of "new" duck holes in the flooded fields & timber.
And yes, they do move alot. Good news is they are still migrating down.
Seen a lot of new birds this week.
Just have to keep on looking - you'll find them.

You just keep hunting the Alred area....thats why you not seeing any ducks :mrgreen:
