I have a 14' x 30" but not sure if its any good hunting out of. I'm sure it will be unstable. What's your thoughts, sell it?

Sell that surfboard and get something wider. My buddy has a little boat like that that he uses on a pin and id never try to hunt out of it. W ayyyy too tippy.

That's what I thought to. I have a 16' semi v sears boat I hunt out of. I bought a blind and the boat came with it.

It depends on what you are using it for. I've got an old 1230 flatbottom in the backyard that I plan on using somewhere down the road for just a little pond boat...possibly put a trolling motor on it.

If you are planning on putting a motor on yours and going out on the public waters I think you could do okay with a small one as long as the weather is not bad and you don't overload it.
