Anyone know of some private land for lease next year/clubs to join in North Alabama? I have a 750 ac lease in Arkansas, but the time between trips is driving me crazy...

Leaving any kind of a lease in AR, even if it's a bad year over there, and pay to hunt in north Alabama is ridiculous. I've been hunting around NA since the 70's and its 10% at best what it was then. I have not even got my stuff out this year if that tells you anything. Good luck

You're not hunting in the right spot then. Lots of good private hunting spots around North Alabama. I kill just as many on my private spot as I did 10 years ago in Arkansas.

I'm in the same boat. Well, at least looking for a new lease here in N. Alabama. I'm losing my lease I've had for the past 9 years due to change in land owners. Looking for a private club in the Limestone/Morgan/or Lawrence county areas.

My family has owned land in Lawrence county for 80 years and just to let you know, we manage for ducks and still dont pull the numbers we hoped for... If you get private land/lease you better have 500k to throw at it and hope food runs out at the refuge every year. Otherwise Id stay in arky, and spend money on gas and lease. I kill a few ducks, but I spend more time on the big water anyway.

I feel your pain Dixie Pig.... Doesn't matter how much money you have to throw at an Arky lease, if you don't have time to make it out there, it ain't worth anything. Too bad we don't get more ducks here.
