ive been working 7 12s all year and looks like i may get some time off around the first. i havent had time to do any scouting but would like to go shoot some wood ducks. any hints as far as looking for some flooded timber and ponds to hunt, or hunting the creeks and slews?

No high water. Typical fall water levels.

Water all out in the woods. Should be able to travel to any of the "flooded" timber holes or hunt on peoples private land. Ducks are spread out. Gonna be a terrible opener. Better head to the causeway… I haven't seen a duck in 3 years. Don't know what one looks like. btw the water level right now is 12.5 at berrys. Thanks and have a great day! :P

Guess I should have known better than to ask a bunch of duck hunters for any help. Can't say I blame them though :| . I'll try what worked last year on the opener.

river levels have been low. Last little rain helped out but not much in the way of flooded timber right now. Good marshy areas down around, well just before Alligator Lake.
