Is there anyone that is familiar with the Kopmeier Gundogs? I got the pedigree back on my Lab and most of her pedigree is from there. Most the Sires and Dams on the website are listed in my dogs pedigree back 3 generations. Are they good dogs? Is there a substantial difference in the UKG and IRE bloodlines? I am not knowlegeable on any of these topics and just looking for general knowlegde about them.

Thanks and God Bless

I very cynical about "British" breeders, particularly those market their UK and Ireland sourced sires and dams as superior to field lines bred in the US.

That said, I know nothing about this particular breeder. I will reach out and ask them to attend one of our group training days so that they may showcase their capabilities.

I have never heard of them. I can ask the local UK FT Society guys if they know them. I would not think of it as "bloodlines." You will see many of the same dogs in Eng/Scot/Ireland peds. My friend who has campaigned dogs in Europe generally thinks England is considered the "major leagues" and somewhat more difficult to title a FTCH than the provinces. Sort of like the Texas circuit, more dogs equals harder to get the wins/points.
