I tore a small hole (1/2 inch) in the rubber boot part of my LaCrosse waders. What is the best way to fix this? I was thinking about using a rubber tire tube patch along with rubber cement. I didn't figure shoe goo would be good to use on the rubber parts.

The tire tube patch should work fine. I used one on my hip boots and it seems to be holding up.

I've fixed a lot bigger holes than that with shoo goo. You can also use the shoo goo in combination with the tire tube patch to make the tube patch more durable.

But, as you may already know from some of my previous post, I'm a shoo goo believer.
